Rickenbacker causeway accident: One lane on the Rickenbacker Causeway has been reopened by police after the violent two-vehicle crash today.
The causeway was completely shut down after a Key Biscayne accident today that sent a woman in critical condition to the hospital.
As at the time of writing this, police have reopened one lane for traffic flow on the Rickenbacker Causeway after the violent crash what was a two-vehicle crash.
Officers are investigating the traffic crash, road users were urged to please seek alternative routes.
The City of Miami Police and Fire Rescue crews responded to the scene of the two-vehicle crash near Brickell Avenue, at around 9 p.m., Saturday.
The victim was transported by paramedics to Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition.
Officials have not provided further details about the collision.
