Phil Mccormack cause of death: How Phil Mccormack death happened

Phil McCormack, the frontman for rock band MOLLY HATCHET, has died at the age of 58.

Read touching tributes from Phil’s loved ones below:

From Davi Maida:

Rest In Peace longtime Molly Hatchet singer Phil McCormack who has passed away. I booked, worked and supported MH with him lead singing over a half dozen times.

He always gave it 110% in performance. Ride on brother! #mollyhatchet #philmccormack #dmaidapr.

From Kenny Ames:

Heartbroken. 💔💔💔

Just heard that Phil McCormack lead singer for Molly Hatchett and The Roadducks passed today.

The Roadducks were the first “real” band I was ever a part of. And Phil was the engine of the group. 300+ shows a year. What a beast. Many instances where Phil being older and more seasoned than I (I was 20 yrs old) would look out for me and steer me away from unsavory elements.

Last I saw Phil was at a festival in Sweden 15 or so years ago.

Phil was the real deal. He was in 110% and never phoned it in.

RIP, my brother. Tell Bob and Rob hello.

Much love, mi amigo.

Honored to have known you and to have shared the stage.

  • From Barry Newlin:

I’m am crushed by the news of my longtime friend and southern rock brother Phil McCormack’s passing. He was a great front man and one of a kind awesome person who loved his country and all veterans!

I first meet him @ the PT Lounge in Williamsport, MD sometime in the early 80s when he was with the Roadducks, then later hanging out at Shiley Ackers, Inwood WVA in the Mid-80s.

We had many adventures over the years and I will miss him greatly. No matter where he seen me, he always greeted me with a hug and a o’hell Yeah! RIP my friend. Let’s hear a big Hell Yeah for Phil!

May Phil’s soul rest in perfect peace.
