Peter Obi appeals to supporters not to storm court premises
Peter Obi, candidate of Labour Party (LP) in the just concluded presidential election has made an open appeal to his supporters not to invade court premises as hearing over alleged electoral malpractice is set to commence.
He urged his supporters known as Obidients to give his legal team the space and peaceful environment to work in ensuring his case goes well in court.
Obi, in a post via his Twitter page on Wednesday, March 8th, opposed the idea of a rally or protest being organised around the court house.
He said;
“As we go about seeking redress for our stolen mandate, I plead with OBIdients to respect the sanctity of the Court premises and give our legal team the space and peaceful environment to carry out their duties.
The Court Premises is not and should not be turned into a rally ground. I urge the Obidients to go about their businesses peacefully.”
