Nobody should speak against Peter Obi – Father Mbaka cautions

Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu (AMEN), Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has appealed to members of his congregation to pray for Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

The fiery priest also cautioned them to stop castigating the Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Callistus Valentine Onaga.

Mbaka issued the warning while addressing those that converged at the adoration ground in defiance of a directive for the church to be closed down.

He further urged the members to obey His Lordship order and keep away from Adoration as all activities remained suspended in obedience to the directive of the Bishop.

Father Mbaka said; ”The church has not stopped me from becoming a priest, even Peter Obi himself, pray for him. Don’t talk against him, please. He is our brother, he is our friend. I don’t want you to go to the main road, I don’t want you to be pugnacious or to be cantankerous.

I don’t want the Adorers to be violent. I don’t want Adoration people to be classified as bandits for we’re not bandits. We’re obedient children of God, we love the mother church and the mother Church loves us so much.”
