Mohbad: Do2dtun blasts protesters after Lekki teargas incident
Nigerian on-air personality and actor, Do2dtun has offered an alternative perspective on the use of teargas to disperse some fans of late musician Mohbad at Lekki toll Gate on Thursday evening by the police.
The on-air personality said this while reacting to controversies and claims and controversies over alleged use of teargas to disperse large crowd gathered for a candlelight vigil for Mohbad, at the Lekki toll gate by the police without provocation.
However, Dotun, on to his Twitter page explained the event that led to the use of teargas by the police.
He explained that the candlelight procession held for Mohbad had ended at Muri Okunola Park, and attendees were peacefully dispersed around 8 pm.
But he noted that contrary to that instruction, some of those who participated in the candlelight procession decided to head to the Lekki toll gate.
He said this could have resulted in violence.
