Lady arrested by Police after stabbing ex during bloody fight in Ondo
A 39-year-old food vendor identified as Sola has reportedly been arrested by the Ondo State Police Command for stabbing her ex-boyfriend in the stomach during a fight in Ondo State.
According to reports, the suspect was said to have terminated the relationship with the victim, Lomi Alara Akinbinu which led to the brawl and ended up with the victim being stabbed in the stomach during the confrontation.
Reports filed by Nigerian Tribune revealed that the relationship between the suspect and the victim went sour after the suspect met another man she intended to be with.
A source in the area gave an account of the incident saying that Lomi had paid the suspect a visit at her residence at Iyalaje market area in Ondo West Local Government in the early hours of that day but met her twin children and gave them the sum of N500.
He later returned to the place only to find Sola and her supposed new boyfriend in the house. The victim then requested that the suspect walks him home but she refused, saying the relationship is over.
The victim then demanded the N500 he gave the twins for feeding and he was handed the cash but out of anger and pain, he pounced on the suspect and started beating her up. After subjecting the suspect to severe beating, he was then stabbed in the stomach with a knife by the suspect.
The victim was immediately rushed to the medical center for treatment and the suspect was arrested by the police and charged in court.
