Kunle Afolayan’s Anikulapo movie rejected by Oscars

The Oscars, also known as the Academy Awards, have rejected Kunle Afolayan’s recently released film Anikulapo from the nomination list.

Anikulapo, a film by Kunle Afolayan, has been well praised worldwide since its premiere, however according to Kemi Filani, the Academy Awards do not think it merits being nominated.

The Oscars, also referred to as the Academy Awards, are prizes given for artistic and technical excellence in the domestic and worldwide cinema industries. Many people consider the awards to be the most prestigious and important ones in the global entertainment industry.

Kunle Afolayan recently expressed his dissatisfaction on his Instagram page, writing, “I am so pleased and delighted that the entire world has decided to tag ANIKULAPO film a masterpiece even though the Nigeria Oscar selection committee thinks is not worth submitting for the Oscars. I’ll keep doing my own thing.
