Kevin Thomas of St. Thomas passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the age of 57.

Kevin leaves behind:

  • his loving wife Faye Butters (nee Wagler);
  • his children Patrick Butters, Christopher Butters (Jennifer), and Emma Butters;
  • his brother Brian Butters and his sister Marlene Slipp (Jim);

Kevin was employed at the City of St. Thomas Fire Department for 30 years retiring in 2017 as Platoon Chief. He was an active member of St. Anne’s Parish.

Whether he was with friends or family “back at the sugar shack,” snowmobiling or tinkering on endless projects at home or at the cottage, Kevin embraced every day with enthusiasm and joy.

He was always ready to lend a hand to anyone, anywhere. Kevin was devoted to his family and friends but his life was his children and wife.
