Just weeks before her death, Jill had gotten a new ride which she shared a picture of on her Facebook page, see above.

According to the Lycoming County Coroner’s Office, 35 year old Jill Greninger was operating the meat grinding machine Monday at the Economy Locker Storage Co. in Pennsdale when she either fell or was pulled into the device.

There were no witnesses to determine what led to the fatal incident. Jill was operating the grinder from a rolling ladder about 6 feet above the machine.

She was found after another employee heard the grinder make an unusual sound and discovered the woman inside the grinder.

Emergency responders were called and spent 45 minutes extracting her body. She was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.

“This was a horrible accident,” Coroner Charles E. Kiessling Jr. told the Williamsport Sun-Gazette.

Greninger had worked for the plant since 2014 and lived in nearby Williamsport, about 12 miles from the factory, according to her social media accounts.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration opened an investigation into her death.

The accident happened around 11:40 am. on Monday April 22nd, 2019 at the Economy Locker Storage Co., located at 324 Worthington Lane.
