I won 2023 presidential election, will prove it in court – Peter Obi
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party has declared that he actually won the 2023 presidential election.
According to him, he was robbed of his mandate which he can only retrieve in a court of law.
The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu had been declared winner of the election.
Tinubu defeated his main rival, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who had 6,984,520 votes and Peter Obi of Labour Party (LP) who polled 6,101,533 votes to come second and third respectively.
Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) was fourth with 1,496,687 votes.
Of the 36 states and FCT, Tinubu, Obi, and Atiku won 12 states each while Kwankwaso won only Kano State.
However, Obi said the election was a daylight robbery and will explore all legal means, including the courts, to reclaim the mandate given to him and his running mate, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed.
