Fuel scarcity: Tiwa reveals she’s leaving Nigeria

Popular Nigerian songstress, Tiwa Savage has lamented over the fuel scarcity which resurfaced due to President Bola Tinubu’s announcement of the removal of subsidy.

During his Inauguration speech on May 29, Tinubu said that subsidy will cease to exist under his administration.

Shortly after, fuel queues began at filling stations, and some started hoarding their petrol.

Tiwa Savage who just returned from Brazil where she went for holiday, took to her social media page to speak on how the fuel scarcity and other issues are frustrating her.

The ‘All Over’ singer said she came back home to fuel scarcity and epileptic power supply.

She also bemoaned the damage to one of her car tyres due to a bad road.

The ‘Koroba’ crooner also said that she will stay off social media and start making preparations to go back to Brazil because of the hardship in Nigeria.

Taking to her Instastory, Tiwa wrote; “Literally less than an hour back in Naija and one of my car tyres gone. Other car now in the queue for fuel. Issue with electricity in my house.

“I’m logging off and going back to where I came from because…”
