First USA coronavirus death: A patient in Washington has died from Coronavirus in USA.
Death of the patient infected with the novel coronavirus in Washington state was announced February 29 2020, marking the first death due to the virus in the United States.
Earlier, Washington Gov. Jan Inslee referred to the patient as male. But according to President Donald Trump during a press briefing Saturday, the coronavirus patient, a female, died overnight.
He described the patient as a “medically high-risk patient in her late 50s” and said she was “a wonderful woman.”
Vice President Mike Pence said:
“I want to assure that family they are on the hearts of every American.”

Two patients with acute respiratory symptoms tested positive for the coronavirus Friday night at EvergreenHealth Medical Center in Kirkland, Washington, a suburb of Seattle. One of the patients has died, and the other is in isolation.
