Amanda Eller missing: See the men who found Amanda Eller, 35-year-old physical therapist from Haiku, who was found sixteen days after she disappeared while hiking.
Amanda Eller was found by her family’s search team captains Chris and Javier. They were in a helicopter searching out of the general area when Eller spotted them and they spotted her at the same time. She waved them down.
Amanda Eller was found deep in a creek bed between two waterfalls.

Amanda was found alive within the Makawao Forest Reserve. She was located during an air search of the area. Eller’s friends and family announced the news around 4:30 p.m. via the FindAmanda page on Facebook.

URGENT UPDATE! Amanda has been found. She got lost and was stuck and slightly injured in the forest- way way out. somewhere way far above Twin Falls. Between two waterfalls down a deep ravine in a creek bed. Chris and Javier spotted her and she spotted them, waving them down. She is being air evacuated now. She just talked to her father on the phone. Amanda Eller is ALIVE!!!!

She was deep in a creek bed between two waterfalls. She is just as strong as we always said she would be. We knew she could make it this long. Amanda is doing great she is just talked to her father from air evacuation helicopter. More soon!!
Amanda Eller was last seen on May 8 when she was declared missing. Her car was located later that day in the parking lot of the Makawao Forest Reserve, where she was known to hike.
