Alhambra High School threat update: Reports of a potential bomb threat directed at Alhambra High School circulated on social media today.

This caused panic and great concern in the community but according to Alhambra High School, they have determined there is no evidence of a credible threat on the school.

The Alhambra Police worked with the school all through last night and determined it’s safe for school to be in session.

A statement from Alhambra Unified School District reads:

AUSD parents + students: We want you to know school is in session today.

@AlhambraPolice will be visible on campuses. APD worked with us late last night to investigate a threat directed @ALHAMBRAhigh and determined it is safe for schools to be in session.

The Alhambra Police Department has determined there is no evidence of a credible threat @ALHAMBRAhigh

@AlhambraPolice will maintain visibility & presence on campus for the remainder of the day. We are safe & in session at Alhambra High School.
