You must pay to take pictures with me – Rapper Speed Darlington
Nigerian Hip Hop artiste, Darlington Okoye, known professionally as Speed Darlington, has said that he deserves to be paid for “being a celebrity.”
The US-based musician said anybody who wants to take pictures with him must be ready to pay for it.
Speedy stated this while appearing on the latest episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, co-hosted by actor, Nedu.
It may be recalled that a video of him went viral last month when he was said to have demanded N5,000 from fans who wanted selfies with him at a shopping mall.
Speaking on the incident, the rapper insisted that he deserved to be paid for just “being a celebrity.”
He said; “I really think I should be paid for being a celebrity.”
Nedu told him that without fans’ love, he wouldn’t be a celebrity.
But Speed Darlington countered him saying; “What generates that love? Why them no hug mad man for road?”
