Yoruba actor Ijoba Lande declared missing
Popular Nigerian Instagram comedian, Ganiyu Kehinde Morufu, also known as Ijoba Lande, has been declared missing by his family.
Lande is reported to have left the house without his phone on Sunday night, March 26, and is yet to return home.
The news sent shockwaves throughout the entertainment industry, with many of his colleagues and fans expressing concern and sending prayers for his safe return.
Actress Nkechi Blessing and fellow comedian Cute Abiola were among the first to raise the alarm and call for action to find Ijoba Lande.
Nkechi Blessing took to social media to share his pictures and details, urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to reach out.
Skit maker Cute Abiola, for his part, reposted videos shared on Ijoba Lande’s Instagram page by his family members.
In one of the videos posted, Ijoba Lande’s wife cried out over her husband’s sudden disappearance.
According to her, the comedian hasn’t returned home since he left the house on March 26th.
“This is to inform the public that IJOBA LANDE left home to an unknown destination on 26th of march around 9:00 pm and up till now we can find him.
“We have reported the case at the nearest police station and with their help they help us to send signal to radio station please if you noticed anthing you can dm his account or @ijesaekun.
“He left his phone at home after breaking his fasting on 26th that was the last time we heard from him”, they captioned the video.
