Westheimer accident: 1 dead, 2 injured, Man charged for crash
Westheimer accident: A 21-year-old woman is dead, 2 others injured, and 29-year-old man charged after a three-vehicle Westheimer accident Saturday morning.
The fatal crash happened at about 9:15 a.m. Saturday November 2, 2019 in the 12800 block of Westheimer near S. Dairy Ashford.
According to Houston police, the 29-year-old man was speeding, ran a red light and crashed into the woman’s vehicle.
The 29-year-old man was driving 80 mph when he ran a red light and hit the 21-year-old woman who was driving another vehicle.
The woman died from her injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said two other passengers were injured but it wasn’t stated which vehicle they were in.
The 29 year old man was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office has charged him with manslaughter and reckless aggravated assault. It i reported that he was not intoxicated
