Russian forces enter Ukrainian capital, Kyiv

Russian forces have reportedly moved into the Ukraine capital, Kyiv, in the ongoing military operations against the country.

BBC reports that Ukrainian authorities on Friday revealed that Russian troops were in the northern district of Kyiv.

According to the report, Russian armoured vehicles were seen advancing into the capital city through the northern district.

Ukraine President Zelensky has since addressed the nation and appealed to Putin to stop the assault and consider a ceasefire to save the lives of citizens of both nations.

The president had in a statement, banned males between the ages of 18- 60 from leaving the country as the activities of the Russian forces continue to trigger tension across the world.
