Nomzamo Khumalo death happened 22nd October 2019. The beloved Nomzamo Khumalo Kaya FM news editor and anchor lost her life after an illness.

I’m still in Shock.. It’s not everyday that you lose your best friend. Nomzamo Khumalo, we met as young reporters in 2001 at Talk Radio 702 and very quickly struck up a friendship which became a sisterhood. We traveled together every night after our shift with Bra Rich our trusted driver, Vatiswa Ndara and Nomzamo Khumalo. Our daily trip would start with dropping off with Vatiswa, then me and lastly, Bra Rich would make the long trip to drop off Nomzamo in Kagiso on the West Rand.
Fast forward to end of 2003 /beginning of 2004, she moved to Kaya FM, I moved to YFM both in Rosebank, and without a doubt thats when the Raucousness began! 😊😊 Too many memories to mention here, but you were my everyday skeem, siphilile sonke my friend.
Thank you for your friendship, the laughs, the silliness, the heart to hearts, the crushes, the career moves, parenting Sizwe, you always were a trooper. You are now at peace… Rest In Peace mama! 💕
