Rob and Lori Mcleod Colorado are the parents of one of Scott Kimball’s victims, Kaysi McLeod.
The lifelong felon, Scott Kimball is serving a 70-year sentence for four murders committed after he was released from prison in 2002 to act as an FBI informant.
Kimball, a lifelong con man with four felony convictions, was released from prison on Dec. 18, 2002, to act as an FBI informant after convincing federal agents that his cellmate, Steve Ennis, had asked him to kill a witness in a drug case.
Less than a month after he was released in 2002, four people vanished.
LeAnn Emry, 24, vanished. Ennis’ girlfriend, Jennifer Marcum, 25, disappeared a month after that, and Kaysi McLeod, 19, went missing in August 2003. Then, some time in mid-2004, Kimball’s uncle, Terry Kimball, 60, vanished.
Scott Kimball was the last to see each of them alive.

I agree with the tribute above to Lori McLeod. That episode was the most disturbing and saddest I’ve watched so far. I could totally relate to her daughter being a drug addict and not knowing when to believe her. My daughter is a recovering drug addict and the 3 years that she was heavily in to drugs, we never knew when to believe her even when she begged and pleaded us to believe her (and later finding out she had lied). For that evil horrifying man, Scott Kimball, to plant drugs in the house and use her daughter’s past drug addiction to cast doubt in Lori’s mind, is absolutely heart wrenching to me. For Lori to discover that soulless man planted the drugs and Kaysi wasn’t lying, is painful for me to think of how Lori felt. I find comfort that Lori is with her daughter in heaven. I also find comfort knowing that there is a special place in hell just for serial killers like Scott Kimball.
That woman wasn’t very smart. Red flags everywhere and she couldn’t put 2 and 2 together, even when that creep was out there shooting gophers and naming someone in his family every time he fired? His own son said he pushed him out of the car? Still she didn’t get it. DUH? Jesus lady really? She was either just very desperate to have a man in her life or just plain gullible and stupid period. I’d like to see how women are going to defend that idiot woman.
Alrighty then. We don’t watch these shows to feel better than the participants. It serves no purpose except a selfish reason. We watch to witness, to help someone else or to get help.
Lori McLeod did a great service for speaking out. Let’s not judge.
She was either mentally impaired or complicit.
