Lecturer and his daughter arrested for brutalizing and stripping a 20-year-old lady

Operatives of the Nasarawa State Police Command have arrested a senior lecturer at the Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA), Dr. Fred Ekpe Ayokhai, for mercilessly beating up a 20-year-old lady who had an altercation with his daughter over a man.

It was gathered that the victim, Blessing Mathias, confronted the lecturer’s daughter, Emmanuella Onawegie, for allegedly ‘stealing’ the phone number of a man, simply identified as IG, from her phone.

A video where she confronted Emmanuella inside a room is currently making rounds online, and she was seen beating her up while demanding that she deletes the man’s number with immediate effect.

Following the confrontation, the lecturer stormed Blessing’s house with his sons to attack her for fighting with his daughter. They ruthlessly brutalized her with sticks, belt, wood, and other weapons. They then drove into a forest where they stripped her naked and abandoned her there.

In a new update, Dr. Ayokhai, who is a former ASUU chairman in the school, and his daughter, have been arrested by the police. However, his eldest son and other suspects are currently at large.
