Klopp reacts to losing wedding ring after Liverpool vs Newcastle

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has confirmed he lost his wedding ring after their 4-2 win over Newcastle United on Monday.

The ring was eventually found by a TV cameraman in the middle of the pitch.

Klopp responded by kissing the ring in front of the cameras.

“I had a massive shock,” Klopp said, “but it’s back.”

Klopp had congratulated his players and was heading toward the fans while applauding, before he realized he no longer had his wedding ring on.

He scoured the grass near where he was standing, even asking a steward if he wouldn’t mind helping in the search.

“Oh my God, that would have been really awful,” Klopp said.

“I lost it once in my life — I needed a professional diver because it was in the sea.

“From time to time when I lose one or two kilos, it’s not the right fit anymore.”
