Jason Franz Silverton Oregon obituary: Jason Franz death – what happened?
Silverton Chamber of Commerce released a statement after Jason died. The statement read:
We are saddened to hear of the passing of one of our long-time Silverton business owners. Jason Franz, owner of Fall Line Skate-Bike-Sno, passed away yesterday unexpectedly while doing what he loved mountain biking.
Jason was a vital spark plug in our community. It is safe to say there would not be a skate park in town, had it not been for Jason’s tireless work to see it come to fruition. Jason was also instrumental in the BMX track at Rogers Wayside Park.
Jason was a long-time board member on the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and was the sitting Vice-President.
Jason always had what was best for Silverton at heart. He worked tirelessly behind the scenes for the Chamber and our functions, especially Judy’s Party.
Fall Line and Jason provided local youth a safe locale to go and a great mentor to learn and lean on while trying to navigate growing up. I have personally used Jason’s service for my children’s bicycles and know firsthand the quality, passionate person he was.
Jason’s untimely passing leaves a huge hole in the fabric of Silverton, many hearts and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with Lisa and his family as we all grieve this unimaginable loss.
Brandon Hamilton, President
Silverton Chamber of Commerce
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
