I owe my success to nobody, Poco Lee and Olamide didn’t make me ‘blow’ – Portable
Nigerian street-hop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, professionally known as Portable, has said that nobody else but himself deserves credit for his success.
He said that contrary to widespread belief, he was not ‘blown’ by any other artiste or person in the entertainment industry.
The singer hit the limelight in December 2021 after Poco Lee introduced him to rapper, Olamide who then hopped on the remix of Zazuu, which became a hit.
But in an interview on Echo Room, Portable said he was already popular before meeting both of them. “Nobody made him popular”, he said.
The Zazuu star, who described himself as a child of grace insisted he was already famous and everybody wanted to associate with.
“Shey me I see anybody help me ni? As I dey like this, if no be sey I get grace. Everybody DM me. Nobody blow me. I don blow before I meet Poco Lee and Olamide,” Portable said.
