Focus on your son – Uche Maduagwu tells Pete Edochie to stop talking about actresses’ divorce
Controversial Nigerian actor and social critic, Uche Maduagwu has called out veteran actor, Pete Edochie over his statement about the high rate of divorce amongst Nollywood actresses.
Speaking in an interview with popular media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Edochie said the number of actresses that have left their marriages is disturbing. He used the failed unions of Chioma Chukwuka, Tonto Dikeh, Ireti Doyle as examples.
But his comment provoked Uche Maduagwu who told him to focus on his child, Yul Edochie, who is currently having a marital crisis after taking a second wife.
The social media commentator said the legandary actor should bother more about his son’s woes and behavior instead of talking about other people’s problems.
Maduagwu shared a video of himself criticising Edochie and captioned; “Focus on your PIKIN DISGR*CEFUL actions in Marriage, not these great actresses Matter. Marriage is supposed to be Enjoyed, not ENDURED.
I wept Bitterly after #watching Sir PETE interview, so INSENSITIVE, instead of Boldly criticizing WETIN him PIKIN do him #Wife of more than 16 years of Blissful #Marriage by giving Colleague #Movie Location BELLE, instead of criticizing how him PIKIN Dey do #dance and singing #videos with Judy on social media even when MAY Dey MOURN, you are focusing on Tonto Dikeh, Aunty IRETI and Chioma that are now Fulfilled and spiritually Prosperous. Seriously?”
