Claire was tragically killed two days before her 21st birthday.

According to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Cpl. Richard Itter, the two-car crash that killed her happened at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Alabama Highway 13 at mile marker 236.8, about 12 miles south of Eldridge.

Claire’s interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Her family will receive friends from 11:30-2:00, Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at Hunter Street Baptist Church. Service will follow at 2:00 with Pastor Bill Decker officiating.

Claire Largin death:

Claire Largin was driving her Toyota Rav 4 when she collided with a Dodge F3500 truck. Alabama State Troopers say Largin was pronounced dead on the scene.

Claire was a junior at the University of Alabama. She was an early childhood special education major at the University of Alabama.

She was also a sister of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. They released this statement on their loss:

“We are devastated by the passing of Claire Largin. While we have barely begun to comprehend the nature of her death, we know that her vibrant personality touched so many.

Our focus remains on her family, friends, and sisters who knew her best, and we’re deeply grateful to all who have already reached out with prayers and support.”

Claire Elizabeth Largin, of Hoover, was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bill Largin.

She leaves behind her parents; sister, Madison; brother, Will; and the love of her life, Cortez Hall; grandparents, Sue Largin Morgan and Stuart Bean; and her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
