Chicago man accused of threatening Seun Kuti life, finally apologised
A Nigerian man based in Chicago identified as Solomon Idowu tenders an apology to the seasoned singer, Seun Kuti after threatening his life online.
This comes hours after the singer accosted the Nigerian at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport over threats against his life and that of his family.
The man initially had put up a tough front and stood on his words, but at some point bowed to pressure by apologizing to Seun Kuti.
Taking responsibility for his actions, he stated in a recorded video that he should be held accountable should any arm come to Femi Anikulapo’s son in Chicago.
“If anything happens to Seun, my name is Solomon Idowu; I am a citizen of the United States, and I live in Chicago. If anything happens to Seun in Chicago I’ll be responsible. This is because of some miscommunications between us,” he stated.
He, however, offered a hand of friendship to the Seun which was immediately rejected.
