62 year old Bradford Stiles of Iowa City and 35 year old Linda Schirmer of Williamsburg were killed in a two-vehicle accident in Iowa County.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, Bradford Stiles was driving a truck northbound on Highway 151 at the Iowa River Bridge. He lost control due to slick conditions and crossed the center line, striking another vehicle driven by Linda Schirmer.

Both vehicles stopped in the roadway. Schirmer, 35, of Williamsburg, and Stiles, 62, of Iowa City, died.

The incident is under investigation.
