Actor Omo Banke explains why he returned to Nigeria

Actor Soji Taiwo aka Omo Banke has explained why he returned to Nigeria from the United States of America.

In an interview with Punch, Omo Banke said his career had taken a new turn while commending some of the high-budget Yoruba movies in the industry at the moment.

He said: “This is the best thing that could happen to Nollywood at the moment. I give kudos to the actors and filmmakers who are working hard to change the narrative in the industry.

” I also cannot wait to shoot movies such as ‘Jagun Jagun’ (The Warrior), and ‘Ageshinkole’ (King of Thieves). That is what I want, and I know my fans want me to do something like that as well. That was why I returned from the United States of America. I am back for good and for more progress and success.”

The thespian further revealed he was unbothered by the rumours circulating online when he was in the US because he knew he was going to relocate to Nigeria.
