Xenophobia: Veteran Nollywood actress, Idowu Phillips better known by her screen name, Iya Rainbow, was spotted by the beach in white garment, praying for Nigeria over the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.

The 77-year-old actress took to her Instagram page to share a video of herself in a white garment on a beach as she prayed for peace to reign in Nigeria.

She captioned the video:

“Nigeria is a great country with rich natural resources. It is widely called the giant of Africa. No doubt, it is a country in the eyes of foreigners who wish to invest their resources into the country.

Nigeria has continued to play a leading role in some sectors in Africa. And it has the potential to be a wider global player in the coming decades through the prayers of intercessory. The Bible says, Psalm 122:6, Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.”

As Nigerians and celebrities continue to give their opinions on the xenophobic attack on foreigners in South Africa, Wizkid has taken a swipe at celebrities whom he thinks offered stupid opinions.
