“Would you marry a raped girl?” A twitter user’s reaction to a man who asked this question has since started going viral.
In this time when rape victims are getting speaking up about being raped, a Twitter user Daawood took to the platform to share a tweet asking his followers a sensitive question;
Would you marry a raped girl?
The tweet has since been deleted but the reactions to the question has continued pouring in. The response with the highest number of retweets and comment reads;
Raped is not an adjective. It doesn’t describe a person. It is just a verb, it just happened. Being raped doesn’t define anyone. I was mugged once on gun point, no one calls me ‘a mugged guy’. She is still a girl. A normal girl not an alien.

@mansibhardwaj95 – 🙏🙏 Respect from India. Being a girl it’s so nice to hear such words .. you have a very nice upbringing may God give this wisdom to everyone..
@safrazik – He spoke my mind. Know that this type of men exist all around the world. I hope there are more…! Love from Sri Lanka.
@DeSaInTeD – That’s how you do it guys. Deflect and take the moral high ground. I know the question is a sad reflection of society’s state but it is nonetheless a factual reflection of our society’s state.
@hmm_mad – Nice selection of words. But see reality differs a great deal. If virgin people like you ready to marry any raped would’ve existed, there’d be less rapes and more marriages, bro. But you see they prefer to rape than to marry a girl. And that’s a grim commendable truth.
