A woman has been filmed on a dash-cam footage dashing out of a hotel with her hands on her throat dripping blood while she screamed for help from passersby.
The 20-year-old woman was at a 17th birthday bash when she was attacked. She is filmed bare feet in the street as she ran to get help.
Her hands were covered in blood from her throat where she had been cut. Moments later, she saw a police car on Deansgate in Manchester and flagged it down before collapsing on the floor.
Witnesses said she fled screaming for help with a gash in her neck around three inches long before collapsing in one of the city’s busiest roads.
Armed police then flooded the five-star Hilton and arrested six suspects including two sisters aged 17 and 20 on suspicion of attempted murder. Five of the six have been bailed overnight with one man, aged 20, still in custody being questioned over the throat slashing.
The 17-year-old woman was arrested in her pink silky pyjamas and walked to a police van by an officer carrying her handbag. Her lawyer sister, wearing jeans and flip-flops, was paraded in handcuffs minutes later.
They had been staying together at the Manchester Hilton hotel after a night out to celebrate the teenager’s birthday and are believed to have met the four men while partying.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said crime scenes “are now in place in one of the hotel rooms and outside the hotel itself” – but said the attack is not believed to be terrorism related.
A spokesman said: “Four men, aged 20, 24, 26 and 26 and two women, aged 17 and 20, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They are all in custody for questioning and enquiries are ongoing”.
