Wilfred Zaha would now be regarded as the lady’s man for his financial involvement with the Crystal Palace Ladies’ amateur players.
He is reported to have made a “substantial financial contribution” to support the development women football in Crystal palace.
His kind gesture was made public after the FA Women’s Championship outfit thanked Zaha on their official Twitter handle.
The former Manchester United player had replied by saying “no problem, happy to help”
Zaha who plays for the male senior team recently signed a new deal to keep him longer at the club.
Also in an official statement on cpfc.co.uk, it was revealed that the player contacted the club, informing them of what he wanted to make some financial donations beforehand.
Hailing the spirit of the player, the statement stated that he has made efforts to give next generation of aspiring players at Palace Ladies what he had enjoyed.
The club also disclosed that the kind gesture shown by Zaha will enable the senior team of the club play in the FA Women’s Championship in coming season.
Crystal Palace Ladies also disclose that the team’s senior squad currently consists of 21 players, all of whom are contracted to Palace Ladies on some financial terms.
