He is arguably the world best player and recently completed a €112million deal to Italian club, former club star Jurgen Kohler, thinks Juventus might regret signing Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Champions League winner left Real Madrid after a nine-year spell and has yet to find his goal scoring form. He is yet to register any goal for Juventus this season.
That has not stopped Kohler from admitting that Ronaldo is one of the best in the world but noted that the fact that the player is sometimes found wanting in big games will be an issue for Juventus.
He said winner of four Champions Leagues and four Ballons d’Or might go missing during games that could be of big importance to Juventus.
The former Juventus player cited the instance of last season’s Champions League final, where Ronaldo failed to score despite netting 15 times at previous stages of the same tournament.
Kohler, who won one Scudetto, one Coppa Italia and the UEFA Cup with Juventus, claims has still never scored in a knockout match at international football’s biggest event.
He said this fact is has not been noticed by majority of the people as Ronaldo is being loved by the football world due to his hard work in matches and in training.
