Wheatland car accident: A fatal accident on 65 today Wheatland CA killed a 17 year old girl of Plumas Lake.

The two-car crash happened around 3:13 p.m. on Highway 65 at Oakley Lane. The female teen was driving a Honda Civic on the roadway and was turning onto Highway 65 when she was hit by a 2017 Hyundai.

According to CHP officials, the 17-year-old driver, who is yet to be identified, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.

A 25-year-old man and two young boys, ages 3 and 8, who were occupants in the Hyundai, were hospitalized with moderate injuries.

The cause of the fatal Wheatland car accident is being investigated by authorities. Drugs and alcohol were not believed to be factors.
