A video has gone viral for the right reasons as it reinforces the trust in humanity. It so happened that a mother and her toddler son were driving through crowd of protesters in Lebanon and the son was for obvious reasons scared and intimidated.
The woman identified as Eliane Jabbour according to reports was driving through Baabda District, just south of Beirut, when a crowd of cheering protesters surrounded her car.
The woman communicated the child’s fears to the crowd after which the youngsters broke into song and dance to please the child and calm him down. Lebanon is facing country wide protests due to financial woes and corruption.
Her 15-month-old son, Robin, was with her. “I told them, ‘I have a baby, don’t be too loud,'” she told CNN about the encounter Saturday night. That’s when the protesters started singing “Baby Shark,” the song that’s become an anthem for toddlers around the globe.
