Victor Olaotan death: Tinsel actor dies at 69

Victor Olaotan is dead, the veteran actor died on the 26th of August 2021, at the age of 69.

He played the role of Fred Ade-Williams in the long standing Television series – Tinsel.

His wife, Mrs Olaotan confirmed his death earlier today, stating that she is grateful that the actor can finally go to rest after suffering for years.

“He has tried. It is not easy to be trapped in your own body for five years. He can finally rest now,” she said.

This is coming months after Victor Olaotan was stranded in Turkey for inability to afford his medical expenses.

Victor Olaotan death: Short biography of Late actor

The late Victor Olaotan was born in Lagos in the early 1952. He studied drama at the University of Ibadan, at the Obafemi Awolowo University and at Rockets University, United States.

He became an actor at the age of 15 years through a teacher who was a member of the Ori Olokun Theatre group in the early 70’s, prior to the death of his father.

After his father died, he traveled to the United States of America in 1978 but returned to Nigeria in 2002 to continue his career in acting.

An actor’s actor of vast credit, Olaotan has featured in films such as “Three Wise Men”, alongside Richard Mofe-Damijo and Zack Orji, “Love struck,” and “Lotanna”.
