Read her post below;

And just like that I almost became a Statistic, a victim of the poor roads, reckless driving and disregard of traffic laws in Nigeria. I witnessed personally the absence of emergency/Ambulance services in this state( if not the whole Nigeria), immediately I pried myself out of the car out of habit I called 911 and I was told the number does not exist, I stayed on the ground dazed for 30mins to 1hr and not one Policeman/ emergency Response came to the scene of the accident.

It truly pains me greatly because effective and accessible Emergency Response/Medicine in Nigeria is what my Dad fought for till his death. One thing I know is as soon as Daddy closed his eyes forever, I gained an Angel who’s eyes never closes watching me constantly, that I could walk out of a car rammed by a truck with just a bump on the head and muscular pains when lesser accidents have claimed lives is definitely an Act of a Higher being🙏🏽🙏🏽

A lot of deaths that have happened in this country are preventable if only Basic amenities for the citizens could be provided. 2018 has become a year I will never forget and a year I cannot wait for it to be over. Let’s raise our voices more on Emergency Response/preparedness in Nigeria, it could be your loved one who would benefit from you speaking out today. #thankful #repost#sharethispost #betternigeria

  1. Is it naija we are talking about or another country, cos if its this our Nigeria, our leaders are not interested in what happens to her citizens, that’s how pathetic they are.

  2. It is time high time Nigeria government help fix a functioning emergency line with quick action when called upon

  3. Nigeria is nothing to write about on the health sector else to criticize but it can be better with you and I .also, imploring the government to intervene and provides the needed facilities

  4. My dear, this is Nigeria. The government are only good in enriching their pockets rather than providing social amenities and facilities that will make life better for the citizens of the country.

  5. Thank God you came out alive,Nigeria has degenerated so much in terms of Emergency Response,if a house is on fire no water for fire fighters to put it off, accidents no responses from emergency service. May God help us.

  6. Is really really very bad. An accident will occur. No one to help the victim for a long time. He is just left there battling with his live.

  7. Our leader are not interested in us only their children and family sometimes the emergency people will tell that they don’t have money to buy fuel, you should send so they can buy the fuel and come to the scene of the accident

  8. No a thing that works in this country Nigeria. I was tempted to laugh when i saw this post but the truth is that this is how we live in this part of the world. We depend on God for mercy.

  9. That’s our great nation Nigeria, where everybody is keep of their selves, if you are waiting for government, you die for nothing

  10. Glory to God that you survived. Emergency line in nigeria is as good as calling a tree to answer you. How many hospitals in nigeria has ambulance for emergency, those that have can either encounter traffic jam or bad roads.

  11. A lot has to be done in Nigeria for us to start living as humans. The level we are currently, is just a joke.

  12. our leaders are not interested in what happens to her citizens, that’s how pathetic they are, God will help Nigeria to grow better and do the right thing

  13. No matter how we lament about these things, nothing will still be done. It is left for us as youths to vote out the old lads that are only interested in enriching their pockets and vote in those youths who have our interests at heart

  14. Yea that is how our country Nigeria is!
But I tell you, you can do something and make the country a better place.

  15. Young lady this is Nigeria for you or were you taken off guard??? You raised alarm because it happened to you, thank God you experienced it because I know how sluggish you people use to be in responding to emergency situations.

  16. Hmmmmmm please my dear this is Nigeria where I don’t think we matter that much sothatnk God you are alright

  17. She speaks the truth. It is saddening how basic amenities such as good roads, electricity and all that affect the country negatively and the government does nothing about it

  18. My dear you are in Nigeria, there is nothing like 911 here. We pray we get developed like other countries

  19. Glad you were not seriously injured. When next you’re in Nigeria you might want to hook up with private medical services with ambulance in Port Harcourt.
