US-based Nigerian man killed in head-on ghastly crash

A 22-year-old US-based Nigerian man, Samuel Oriloye has died after a head-on crash in Glenn Dale early Monday morning.

According to a report by US website, WTOP.com, Samuel Oriloye died after crashing head-on into another vehicle on Glenn Dale Boulevard near Bell Station Road around 1:35 a.m.

Police arrived at the scene of the accident and found a two-vehicle crash with one of the cars on fire.

Police said it appears Oriloye was driving the wrong way in the southbound lanes of Glenn Dale Boulevard. It is not yet clear what led Oriloye to cross into the oncoming traffic.

Oriloye was pronounced dead on the scene. The second driver suffered sustained nonlife threatening injuries, police said.

There were no other injuries, according to police.
