Update: Oloture is a work of fiction and not Tobore Ovuorie’s story – Ebony Life responds to Tobore Ovuorie’s allegations.

Ebony Life has responds to Tobore Ovuorie’s allegations that their film “Oloture” was a copy and paste story of her life.

Recall that an investigative journalist Tobore Mit-Ovuorie, accuses Ebony Life of adapting her work without permission.

However, Ebony Life Tv has debunked the claim as they state that the story was a work of friction and that they also created Mit-Ovuorie and other journalists towards the end of the movie. Read here

Good evening, Our Attention has again been drawn to the continued media engagements of Ms. Tobore Ovuorie which borders on the unfounded allegation of copyright infringement in relation to Oloture (or “the Movie”) against EbonyLife Films (“EbonyLife” or “the Company”).

We had refrained from placing a rejoinder to Ms. ovuorie’s publication, however, we are constrained at this time, to issue this statement to set the records straight and put an end to the disparaging statements by Ms. Ovuorie.
