Update: AKA release statement after video of him allegedly abusing late fiancée surfaced

South African rapper AKA has released an official statement after photos of him allegedly abusing late fiancée surfaced.

This came after South African news outlet News24, released photos of AKA breaking down a door to get to his Fiancée few month before her death.

In his statement, AKA denied abusing his late fiancée Nelli Tembes as he accused “some of the people” he and his fiancée trust of trying to tarnish his image.

According to him, him and his fiancée engaged a “beautiful yet challenging relationship” that at times was “tumultuous” like any other relationship which was made worst by being in the public eyes.

He added that he is aware of the “sources” engaging the media to influence the “saps inquest”. He also revealed that he is not yet a suspect in his fiancée death but a “cooperating witness”

He also stated that his fiancée had past traumas she faced before meeting him and that he is still madly in love with her.

He also advised everyone who is affected by Nelli’s death to seek individual amd collective therapy and that Nelli deserves to Rest In Peace.

AKa also hinted that Nelli allegedly committed suicide and that everyone should come to the terms with the “choice she made on the fateful morning of April 11”
