MMMG Boss, Ubi Franklin, is the latest Nigerian entertainment gurus who have joined the world of politics, a move he confirmed in photos he shared on his Instagram page.

Ubi Franklin who had been making his political moves before now ‘behind the scene’, visited his hometown in Cross River State yesterday where he was introduced to his people, as he further campaigned for youths to get their PVC.

He wrote; ‘

“I was today introduced to my people in my Ward(politically).’’

If you if want to change anything in 2019 start now and get your PVC ✌🏾 We are the people we have been waiting for the time is now #Getinvolved

Politically Standing… Be the change you want to see and get your PVC

We are the “Youth” we have been waiting for and the Change we desire. Get your PVC and get involved Thank you my people ❤❤❤❤”.

Ubi Franklin was born in Cross River state, on February 2, 1986 with his twin brother who is now late. His late father worked as a high court judge before he died, he had his primary and secondary education in Calabar and studied Law at Madonna University. Ubi has always dreamt of becoming of becoming the Governor of Cross River State one day.

He was born into a large family and had 14 siblings, and his father was a high court judge.

Ubi Franklin admitted that from July 2016 to March 2017, he struggled to overcome bouts of depression which almost led him to commit suicide. He was almost killed by a Chinese man at a furniture store in Lagos, but by the quick intervention of his cousin, he was saved. The attacker was eventually arrested.

Before he established his record label, Ubi Franklin served as a Personal Assistant to popular comedian, Julius Agwu for 2 years, before going on to work with AY Makun and other artists. He then worked promoting shows.
