I didn’t personally know Tommy Brown all that well but what I do know is If you went to Gahanna Lincoln High school you knew of Tommy wether he was happily cheering on the students at every sporting event or he was lighting up the hallways making people laugh and smile. The Gahanna community lost a amazing individual too soon.

I can’t believe I’m even posting this honestly, Tommy Brown you were a ball of light that would light up even the darkest rooms. When I first moved to Gahanna, you were one of the first people who befriended me and helped me adjust to the school not to mention all the times you put my stuff in your locker when Ve’l Winston (Taco) would break into my locker lol smh. Thank you for being a great friends❤️ I send my deepest condolences to all of your family and friends, say hi to all of our classmates that we have lost for me🙏🏾❤️

  1. Little known fact about Tommy Brown, he worked briefly at Olentangy Orange High School for a year. My son’s sophomore year, in the specialized learning center is where we met Mr. Brown. He made a real connection with my son. Mr. Brown was truly a personable, genuine, energetic, warm and simply an amazing young man. To explain the passing of someone to a special needs child is hard, especially when you would hear everyday…”Mr. Brown is my favorite teacher”. After I explained what happened, my son told me he is going to work extra hard to make Mr. Brown proud! I told him, he is an angel…he will watch over you. I told him to talk to him, he can hear you! That made things much better. I wanted to share this text my son sent me the other day…”When I was walking home from school, I looked up at the sky and I put my hand on my heart, and I was talking to Mr. Brown, saying that he was a really good teacher that helped me pass sophomore year last year, and he was my favorite teacher, and he had a really good life, and I told Mr. Brown that I hope he has a good time up in heaven”…I told him, he will definitely make it a much brighter!

God bless to you and your family, our prayers are with you.
Thank you for sharing such an amazing young man.
