Outreach Specialist<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The first one that I want to talk about is getting virtual assistant jobs as an outreach specialist. \u00a0Essentially, what you&#8217;d be doing is you would be generating leads\u00a0or prospects for your clients through social media.<\/p>\n<p>To paint a clearer picture, let&#8217;s take an example.\u00a0Let&#8217;s say you work with a client who sells online courses\u00a0and what they need from you as their virtual assistant is to get in touch with more people\u00a0who fit their ideal customer avatar to make them aware of this offering,\u00a0or sometimes to make them aware of a Facebook group or\u00a0an Instagram account where they could learn more about this.<\/p>\n<p>So what this company would do is, they would give you the details\u00a0of the kind of people they want to engage with &#8211; the demographics of their ideal customer avatar, their ideal age group,\u00a0gender or the country or region they have to be living in.\u00a0And sometimes, they&#8217;ll tell you where to find these people.<\/p>\n<p>And then, what you would need to do is understand that ideal customer avatar and\u00a0you would need to find them. You would need to engage with people through social media.\u00a0So that would be through Facebook DMs or through Instagram DMs.<\/p>\n<p>What you&#8217;re expected to do is to be able\u00a0to have genuine communication\u00a0with people through those social media platforms.\u00a0And the idea is that you would genuinely engage with them, build a connection\u00a0and build a relationship and understand if whatever you&#8217;re offering them is suitable for them.<\/p>\n<p>So to become a member of a Facebook group or follow an Instagram account\u00a0or check out an offering for those online courses, you need to understand\u00a0if those would actually benefit the person that you&#8217;re engaging with,\u00a0only then, will you make them aware of this kind of opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>So make sure that if you choose to go down this path, you do this with\u00a0an ethical behavior and you don&#8217;t convert it into spam. Nowadays, lots and lots of people do this the wrong way.<br \/>\nAnd not only does this not generate many leads,\u00a0it actually erodes the public&#8217;s trust in that company as well.<\/p>\n<h4>What it takes to be an outreach specialist:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>You need to enjoy talking to people and enjoy meeting new people every day.<\/li>\n<li>You need to enjoy learning about their story and genuinely engaging with them\u00a0in order to see if whatever you have to offer would benefit them.<\/li>\n<li>You should also be able to use social media\u00a0and I&#8217;m assuming you are, since you are on one of those platforms right now.<\/li>\n<li>You need to also be able to use technology and software. You can easily do this job on your phone,<br \/>\nbut using a computer or laptop is actually recommend because it will make the job easier &#8211; \u00a0you would be able to have multiple tabs open.<\/li>\n<li>Obviously, you need to have\u00a0a good internet connection and you would need to have knowledge of how to use a regular internet browser like, Chrome,\u00a0Mozilla, Safari etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There could be other requirements a company hiring for this role may require from you but all in all, this is a pretty straightforward\u00a0opportunity that you could do as a remote virtual assistant.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>2. SEO Expert\/Analyst<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The next remote virtual assistant job that you can do from home\u00a0is be an SEO Expert\/Analyst or pretty much anything related to SEO &#8211; search engine optimisation.<\/p>\n<p>Social media platforms and Google are definitely here to stay,\u00a0and the way they operate is based on search engine.\u00a0And in order for anyone to show up in search on\u00a0any of these platforms is through search engine optimisation (SEO).<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s say, for example, that I have a Youtube account with videos. Now, the videos on my YouTube\u00a0channel need to show up in the search results\u00a0whenever people search\u00a0for the kind of topics that I talk about on my channel, right?<\/p>\n<p>What this means is I need to do some\u00a0SEO work and optimize my videos in order to have\u00a0YouTube propose them and show them in search results to people\u00a0who are interested in learning more about or working from home and online jobs.<\/p>\n<p>As an\u00a0SEO Expert\/Analyst, this is where you come in and\u00a0what you would need to do is understand<br \/>\nthe topics that the channel you&#8217;re working with\u00a0wants to cover and show up in search for. Then, you do the research\u00a0using tools which are mainly specialized in YouTube.\u00a0There are basically tools for any platform out there, including Etsy, Google etc.<\/p>\n<h4>What it takes to be an SEO Expert\/Analyst:<\/h4>\n<p>No matter what kind of platform you choose to specialize in as an SEO Expert\/Analyst,\u00a0what you need to do is understand the business\u00a0or the content type of your client and then use tools\u00a0to do research and to figure out\u00a0what are some really good keywords that they can use,\u00a0that they should be ranking for that people actually search for.<\/p>\n<p>If being an SEO Expert\/Analyst is\u00a0something for you, how\u00a0you can learn about SEO is pretty straightforward.\u00a0You can do it for free on YouTube, or you can use paid\u00a0courses like Udemy or Skillshare.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>3. Online Community Manager<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The third example of virtual assistant jobs that you can work from home job\u00a0right now is being an Online Community Manager.\u00a0Reports out there have it that there is a lot of demand for this kind of work.<\/p>\n<p>So again, let&#8217;s take my fictitious Youtube channel as an example. And let&#8217;s say it has a lot of followers and gets lots of comments. This also applies to\u00a0Facebook and Instagram pages.<\/p>\n<p>Considering that there&#8217;s only so many hours in the day and I\u00a0physically will not have enough time\u00a0to keep responding to every comment and to give the right answer and continue\u00a0providing value to absolutely everyone\u00a0who engages on any of my social media platforms &#8211; I may choose to hire an\u00a0online community manager who will help me\u00a0get people involved, drive engagement, answer to people&#8217;s questions\u00a0and give them guidance and allow them\u00a0to make the best out of their participation in my community.<\/p>\n<p>So if you are somebody who enjoys spending time on social media\u00a0and you like the idea of communities and groups\u00a0of like minded people who have a common interest,\u00a0then this virtual assistant role might be a great idea for you.<\/p>\n<h4>What it takes to be an Online Community Manager:<\/h4>\n<p>To work in this role, you basically would just need to obviously have a connection to the internet. You can do this job from your own phone or from a computer,\u00a0and you would need to be available for a certain amount of time in a day, according to the demands of your employer.\u00a0Probably every day or every other day, depending on the scale of the channel\u00a0or the Facebook group\/page or Instagram account that you are supporting.<\/p>\n<p>Again, you would need to be able to answer questions, provide guidance, give advice, look for things, support the community in your care. The idea is that you would be managing that community\u00a0and you would be engaging with them and they would probably become,\u00a0you know, your friends, your extended family over time,\u00a0which I think is amazing especially if you also have an interest in the topic<br \/>\nthat this online community you would be managing is all about.<\/p>\n<p>So definitely check this out virtual assistant job out.\u00a0There are tons of demand for this kind of jobs already on Upwork,\u00a0but also you could just\u00a0go and reach out directly to the people that manage the Facebook groups\u00a0or the Instagram accounts or the YouTube channels that you are\u00a0personally interested in and that you think you could be able\u00a0to provide value to as a virtual assistant doing online community management.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>4. Channel manager<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The next example that I have for you, if you&#8217;re looking for\u00a0remote virtual assistant jobs, is a Channel Manager. This is a role you can do together or separately with the Online Community manager role.<\/p>\n<p>Essentially, what you would be doing on this role is, you would help someone like a blogger\u00a0schedule posts, upload posts, make sure that thumbnails are done properly. When the blogger has, let&#8217;s say,\u00a0collaborations, you need to make sure\u00a0that the scheduling is done properly and that the content is produced on time.<\/p>\n<p>If this is something that you enjoy\u00a0and if media is a space that you feel comfortable in, I&#8217;ll encourage to go for virtual assistant jobs like this.<\/p>\n<h4>What it takes to be a Channel Manager:<\/h4>\n<p>In order to be someone&#8217;s, let&#8217;s say, YouTube channel\u00a0manager or podcast manager or Instagram account manager,\u00a0you don&#8217;t really need a lot of media knowledge or experience.<\/p>\n<p>What you would need to have is an understanding of how that channel\u00a0works and how, for example, in the case of YouTube,\u00a0how you would need to upload a video , or what is the information\u00a0required to properly upload the video or how to schedule a new post and so forth.<\/p>\n<p>And these are things that you can very easily learn right now by just searching\u00a0on YouTube.\u00a0Or you could take a course if that makes you feel comfortable\u00a0and feel more empowered to support that person.<\/p>\n<p>But this job is definitely something that you could easily\u00a0start doing right now, even if you&#8217;re a beginner looking for\u00a0virtual assistant jobs that you can do from home.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>5. Market &amp; Competitive Research<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Last, but not least on our list of virtual assistants jobs is something that I&#8217;ve seen more virtual assistants\u00a0who work from home actually offer, and that is internet research. These virtual assistants\u00a0go even deeper into things like competitive research\u00a0or market research or ideal customer avatar research.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to go for remote virtual assistant jobs,\u00a0specializing yourself as an internet\u00a0research specialist or analyst\u00a0could be a really, really good idea so that you can stand out\u00a0from everyone else who just offers generic virtual assistant services.<\/p>\n<h4>What you would be doing as an internet researcher:<\/h4>\n<p>As a market researcher\u00a0or competitive researcher or ideal customer avatar researcher,\u00a0you would be looking to understand\u00a0what your client is looking to find out.\u00a0And then you would use your knowledge of how to search on the internet.<\/p>\n<p>You could do this job on your phone, or you could do that on your computer\u00a0and find answers\u00a0and run an analysis for your client that could end up being a\u00a0PowerPoint presentation or a Word document or just an Excel\u00a0with a list of things that you found out. This depends on really\u00a0what they&#8217;re asking you to look for.<\/p>\n<p>When you collaborate\u00a0with a company longer term, you would get this kind of requests,\u00a0if not every day,\u00a0probably every other day. And this is because they&#8217;re always looking for something like\u00a0can you research for me\u00a0examples of partners that I could work with in this space,\u00a0or examples of other companies\u00a0offering similar services with me in that country,\u00a0or examples of similar products that my clients,\u00a0my ideal customer avatar is interested in and so forth?<\/p>\n<p>So there are an infinite number\u00a0of possibilities or things that you would be researching.\u00a0And the idea ultimately is that, not only do you understand\u00a0the need for what you have to search,\u00a0but also how the output of your work would be used by your client\u00a0so that whatever you give them is actually useful, valuable\u00a0and that can be used to take action.<\/p>\n<p>The more you do these jobs, the better you will become and the more successful you will be\u00a0as a virtual assistant providing internet research services.<\/p>\n<h3>Best places to find virtual assistant jobs for beginners:<\/h3>\n<p>Remember, while I do my best to screen all companies, I can&#8217;t guarantee them and this article is not me endorsing them.
