Clergyman and founder of popular Christian drama group, Mount Zion Faith Drama Ministry, Mike Bamiloye, has urged young people to ignore the person their pastor might have asked them to marry.

If you want to live long, ignore person your pastor asked you to marry – Mike Bamiloye

In a post he updated on his Instagram page, the drama Minister advised that single men and women should only go for who they desire and not allow any man of God decided for them.

He said if singles want to fulfill purpose and also live long, they must by all means, marry their own husband or wife and ignore the pastor’s choice.

His post reads

If you want to fulfill purpose and live long, you must by all means, at all cost marry YOUR Wife/Husband, Not the one a prophet, pastor, priest or parents recommend, but the one God recommends.
People can only guide. The ultimate choice must be born out of your personal conviction by the Holy Spirit.

The man of God recently chastised young people for berating RCCG General Overseer, Pastor Adeboye after photos of him kissing his wife surfaced on the internet.

In his reaction to the story, Bamiloye warned against attracting curses into one’s life by speaking against men of God.
