Citizens of Nigeria and Uganda are currently dragging it out on Twitter after a social media user claims Uganda’s Parte after Parte is bigger than the whole of Nigerian music industry.
According to Sharon Godwin, Nigeria needs to drop its “childish sense of entitlement over the continent, Africa” because in his opinion, Uganda is a way better country than Nigeria.
The Twitter user wrote;
The sooner Nigeria drops this childish sense of entitlement they have over this continent the better. Y’all can’t be good in everything. YOU DON’T OWN AFRICA! Uganda is a way better country than Nigeria politically, geographically, socially. Even in music we beat u guys! I said it Uganda’s Parte after Parte is bigger than the whole of Nigerian music industry. Argue with bubu.
Nigerians on Twitter have taken to their social media pages to drag the poster and Uganda. See some reactions from Nigerians below.
