Kaka, one of the ladies who won the Spice Girl competition with Emilia Samuel, the model who accused Theo Ukpaa of rape, has said she was surprised when Emilia accused Ukpaa of rape.
Kaka was mentioned by Samuel in the rape saga.
You recall, Theo was disgraced two days after his wedding by Emilia Samuel after she released details of how he raped her several times when she was just 16. An allegation that also saw Linda Ikeji fire Theo.
According to Emilia, who is now married with two children, her path and Theo’s crossed when she and Kaka made it to the top three of a spice girl competition organised by entertainment channel, Soundcity.
”It started when i went for Spice girl competition organised by Soundcity. I was among the girls picked and I made it to top 3. The winner got 30k then I and Kaka (Can ‘t remember her surname) our own prize was to get trained by them on catwalk and poses twice in a week at their office in Lekki”
Theo later described Emilia’s rape allegation as false, punctured holes in her story and insisted it was “entirely impossible” for him to have raped her.
Admitting that he was a “player” before, Theo stated that he had “broken many hearts” but he is “different now”.

That was until a furious Linda Ikeji, who claimed to know more about Theo Ukpaa’s rape victims than what is in the public domain, threatened to get him arrested if he continues to victimise his victims and claim he’s innocent.

Back to Kaka – in a new interview with Punch newspaper, Kaka said the last time she spoke to Samuel was when she was going to Ghana, adding that when Emilia mentioned her name in the post, she couldn’t remember her face until she went through her photos on Instagram.
“Immediately after the Spice Girls competition, I left for Abuja, not Port Harcourt. From there, I went to Ghana. I wasn’t in touch with both of them for years, but I ran into Ukpaa at some point and I told him I needed his help for the things I do. He then gave me his number and we’ve done things together afterwards.
“Though I don’t really know what happened between Ukpaa and Samuel because I didn’t witness anything, I have never seen him as a rapist and he has never given me reasons to think so. When I saw the story, I was surprised too.
“Immediately after the competition, I left for Abuja. I cannot remember if she called me or not but I know I told her I was going to Ghana. Also, I am not sure we talked about a training as I didn’t attend any training after the show,” Kaka added.
Punch newspaper reports that their efforts to reach out to Emilia Samuel to speak further on the issue were unsuccessful.
