The Culprit Movie Takes Nollywood on an Action Movie Journey and It’s Delightful
With many Nollywood filmmakers diving into the well of comedy and romance, this Nollywood movie, ‘The Culprit’ which held its private screening at the Genesis Cinemas, Lekki on the 14th December 2018 held many viewers to an enigmatic movie experience with its action and drama.
The Saheed Apanpa movie was greeted with applause and great reviews from viewers who visibly enjoyed the movie.
The action movie, ‘The Culprit’, tells the story of a young man called Cain whose heart was broken beyond repairs when the love of his life Abby tells him she can no longer see him because her parents do not approve of their relationship.
In her bid to move on with her life, Abby meets Tejiri, a rich spoilt kid and with the approval of her parents due to similar social circle and tribe, they soon become an item. Despite being every girl’s dream man, the relationship soon took a dive when Abby could no longer tolerate Tejiri’s excesses hence making her way back to Cain who was more than happy to continue from where they left off.
Just when they thought they had everything figured out, a sudden death occurred around Abby. Abby is left to decipher what these death means? Who the Killer’s next target is?
One of the many reasons that sets this movie aside from the usual Nollywood production is the infusion of love, action, suspense and drama all rolled up in one to make a great movie. Not afraid to test the waters of pure enigmatic action, The Culprit is a Nollywood movie that takes you on a roller coaster journey and leaves you wanting more.
Not only did the producer and director of this movie give us something refreshingly different, the also brought in quite a number of new faces who delivered great performance executing their roles like professionals.
