Tension as EFCC arraigns Atiku’s son-in-law

The son-in-law to a former Nigerian Vice President and Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, in the 2019 general decisions, Atiku Abubakar, Abdullahi Babalele has been charged by the (EFCC).

Mr. Babalele was charged on Wednesday before Justice Nicholas Oweibo at a Federal High Court in Lagos, on a 2 count charge of supposed tax evasion of $140,000 in the development to the 2019 general election.

Even though he argued not guilty to the 2 count charge, Justice Oweibo has requested that he should be remanded in EFCC custody pending the knowing about his bail application, tomorrow, Thursday.

Similarly, the EFCC had struck a $2million tax evasion suit against Uyiekpen Giwa-Osagie, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s attorney a week ago.
