Thousands of villagers and residents of Tarkwa Bay Island have been rendered homeless as the Nigerian Army allegedly forces them out of the community.
It is a very sad day in Tarkwa Bay community as the villagers and residents are forced to leave the Island with their properties, leaving their homes behind. According to residents, the evacuation was ordered by the Nigerian Army and government.
Tarkwa Bay Island is a known home for many who have lived their entire lives on the Island, running businesses within the community while the beach serves as a place for tourist attraction.
According to reports, the officials invaded the community this morning, shooting sporadically which led to the death of two residents of the Island while some others were injured as they were forced to leave the Island with.

Reports claims some of the residents are now at CMS bustop and most of them have no where to go from there.
